Editorial policy

Good Systems aims to publish clear, useful explanations that readers can assess for themselves. This policy describes how we handle accuracy, independence, corrections, and paid or illustrative material.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, functions, and claims against relevant information available to us before publication, and write with care about what we can and cannot establish. Guidance is framed for general understanding; settings and features can differ by service, device, or version, so we identify those limits where they matter. We do not present personal preference as a universal rule.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable description. Any material provided by a partner is assessed and labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or an important omission, they can contact us through the Contact page. We review the report and, when a correction is warranted, update the relevant passage and make the change clear in the article where appropriate.

Paid material and illustrations

Paid placements and partner contributions are identified clearly near the material they concern. They do not determine the conclusions of independent editorial articles. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, we label it accordingly.
